When you make a booking either online or over the phone it means you have asked us to reserve a place on 1 or more set course dates.
We have agreed to hold this for you for a fair and reasonable amount of time to allow you to process a payment either by bank transfer or by cheque. (Payment details supplied with your pro forma invoice.)
We require your full payment to reach us within 4 working days of the date shown on your pro forma invoice to secure your place on your preferred course date(s).
Full payment should be made 7 days prior to the commencement of the training course.
As we only operate small class sizes to ensure that all attending candidates receive the attention that they require.
Once we allocate that spot, we cannot take another booking for that place.
Our courses frequently book up a month or more in advance.
Please check your invoice and notify ACR Training of any discrepancies.
Once your payment is received at our end we will issue you with an invoice and full joining instructions. This will tell you what time your course starts & finishes, what to wear and bring with you as well as advice on local accommodation and directions.
We do not issue any certificates ourselves that are externally certified.
We submit your results to the certifying body for certification and have no influence over how quickly certificates are issued.
Once certificates are released to us we send them directly to the address of the person or company that booked & paid for the course.
If you lose your certificate, replacement certificates can usually be arranged, but please be aware the administration charges will need to be paid.
These vary depending on the certifying body but are typically £45 – £65 + VAT.
Terms & Conditions of Booking (Effective for all transactions)
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 do not apply as this is a business to business transaction. (i.e. You are not a consumer, you are purchasing a service for the benefit and use of a business).
However, ACR Training Limited takes a common sense approach and has applied similar cancellation terms and a “cooling off” period once a booking has been made.
CANCELLATION REQUESTS CAN ONLY BE ACKNOWLEDGED AS RECEIVED WHEN MADE IN WRITING TO email@example.com and to the Telford address below.
Cooling off period
From the time your booking is received (e.g. by phone or email) you have 48 hours in which if you need to cancel your booking you will receive a full “no quibble” refund. Outside of this time, your cancellation will be treated as laid out below.
There are only a small number of spaces available on each course, once a place has been booked we cannot offer that space to another candidate.
We plan and allocate our trainer resources based on bookings made.
Cancellations happen sometimes and it is our duty as a responsible training provider to make you aware that we reserve the right to charge if you cancel a booking.
A booking is considered as 1 single place on a course that has been booked. (Group bookings/day rate bookings are considered to have 5 places.)
All charges based on dates shown on original invoice.
Example shown here is based on booking made at midday on 1st of the month.
– Less than 48 hours since booking = £0 (if written/email cancellation request received before midday on 3rd of the month)
– 48 hours or more days since booking = 100% charge (i.e. if written/email cancellation request received after midday on 3rd of the month)
– Suitable substitute candidate notified to ACR Training Limited at any time. = £0
– Up to 48 hours before course start date: Request to move booking onto an alternative date = £0 (if paid in full, deposits will be retained by ACR Training Limited otherwise. First time requests only, subsequent requests will incur full cancellation fee.)
All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) unless clearly stated otherwise. It is our policy to offer training courses at the most reasonable price possible, however, if, due to circumstances beyond our control, we deem it necessary to alter any advertised price, we reserve the right to do so without prior notice.
ACR Training Limited Ltd. reserves the right to cancel any course.
In this case a mutually convenient transfer of date and/or course will be arranged. If you have any questions that have not been addressed, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company such as act of God, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire and legislation.
If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the customer’s liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.
Any complaint can be communicated directly to ACR Training Limited.
We will endeavor to deal with your complaint within five working days of receipt.
In the event where we cannot resolve your complaint immediately we will advise a likely time scale to you and keep you informed of any investigation.
